“The only good things about boarders are the secret crossings. Its incredible the effect an imaginary line can have. It gets traced one day by a doddering king in his bed or drawn on the table by powerful men as if they were playing a game of poker….True boarders are those that keep the poor away from a share of the cake.”

RG: We live curbed and oppressed by unstated rules: that he with an Oxbridge accent is superior to us; that those others have a natural right to rule; that avarice is normal and wars are inevitable; that middle class culture has little to offer the working classes and therefore art and creativity are not the tools, rightful possessions nor proper indulgence for working class youth. These are invisible borders that rigidify social mobility and tyrannise people.
The photograph above reveals the tyranny of a hard life, perhaps poverty in the 6th wealthiest country in the world.
